A Number of people have asked me over the years, what's
up with the screen name "Wackdog". So I've anticipated your
question already.
Back in the early 90's my daughter told me about the
latest fun thing with names. I guess this was a desire by some to go
beyond the "Name Game" of my high-school years. Here is what
they would do: they would take a person's last name, take the first
syllable and add "dog" tap OT. She had a friend named Rattell
who immediately became "Ratdog" My last name is "Wackler".
so there you go.
My grandson calls me "Wackpa." It was easier
than "Wackpappy" (less syllables). I suppose the variations
are infinite.
So there you go.
